Israel Independence Day 2011

After several very successful concerts Milk and Honey are still amazing audiences with their music.

Performing in the Independence Day event on 10th May 2011 the group yet again performed to a very enthusiastic audience in Rehovot, Gan Ha Meginim. Being one of the most internationally recognized vocal groups to come from Israel, the Independence Day gave special significance to the concert.

Again it seems that the vocal harmonies attract even the youngest audience and everyone enjoyed the excitement of the show.

During the performance each group member gave an insight into their personal careers by singing independently solo on stage, showing slides from the past that was appreciated very much.

Lea demonstrated that she is still a hugely popular and sang "Say Hello" also from the Eurovision Competition. Shmulik, Reuven and Yehuda sang songs from their military singing groups.

All the voices were amazing and each member is still vocally very strong, Shmulik engaged the audience by asking if the group members had visually changed after 30 years? He complimented Lea on her youthful appearance and vocal ability.

At the end of the concert Shmulik said that there will be further concerts and members of the encouraged audience went to the group off stage to show their appreciation.

It seems that this group, put together for a one-time Eurovision song have endeared themselves to a broad and loyal audience both in Israel and around the world.
